Highlights of Udsar Tour
Day 01 – Udsar
Arrive in Udsar village either by drive from Delhi/ Jaipur/ Bikaner/ Mandawa or by train from Delhi to Churu and then drive to the village. Upon arrival, warm welcome by the villagers and traditional welcome drink.
Check-in to the village home or you can prefer to stay in a tented accommodation in the sand dunes.
Later, take a guided village walk to understand the local culture and life style of the ethnic Rajasthani village.
Enjoy the folk music in the sand dunes following by Rajasthani dinner. Spend sometime in the dunes to appreciate star gazing. The nights in the desert of Rajasthan are the most beautiful.
Day 02 – Udsar
Wake up with the sounds of village birds and enjoy sunrise in the dunes riding an open top jeep. Jeep safari in the desert is always a great adventure, the landscaping from the top of the dune will be once in the lifetime experience.
Later, take an excursion to Sardarshahar town to see some of the well preserved fresco Havelis (Mansions). These havelis are known for the fresco paintings. Also take a short walk in the markets of the town.
Evening is to experience a camel ride in the sand dunes and to see various wildlife such as antelopes, fox and various birds.
Today, we will have another folk music night as Rajasthan is extremely rich in the music and dance.
Day 03 – Udsar
Have local breakfast in the village farm and check-out. Embark the onward journey with happy memories of the village visit.
